
Drew Blythe Barrymore (born February 22, 1975)[1] is an American actor, director, producer, talk show host and writer. She belongs to the Barrymore acting family. She has won numerous awards and nominations for awards, including an award for a Golden Globe Award as well as an Screen Actors Guild Award. There have also been nominations for seven Emmy Awards, and a British Academy Film Award. In 2004, she earned an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was a well-known kid actor thanks to her role in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. She wrote Little Girl Lost after a highly publicized childhood filled with drug and alcohol abuse. She was in a string of successful films in the 1990s and the 2000s, which included Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed, Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore played along with Adam Sandler on three films, The Wedding Singer and 50 First Dates. Firestarter, Donnie Darko and Riding in Cars with Boys are among her other films. In Whip It, her directorial debut film, she appeared in the film. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as and a Golden Globe Award. She was a part of the Netflix series Santa Clarita Diet and currently hosts her syndicated talk show The Drew Barrymore Show.
